Happy New Year 2013!

Farewell year 2012 and welcome year 2013! It's year of the water snake!

Let me greet everyone a very good morning of the first day of the year 2013! It is been a long while since my last post here. I was more on updating my running blog Runners Toe for the past months, but hopefully I can get back also in this blog.

So it is year of the snake for 2013, and we already have our snake lucky charm. For the past three years, we have been getting our yearly charms.

How about you? Believing in charms does not mean that when you have it you just sit and wait until the blessings will come. It is the other way around, you still need to work hard for everything you wanted in life!

New Year Wish...
Perhaps a bit wiser, 
a bit kinder, too, 
a little bit braver, 
a heart that's more true, 
a touch of believing
I've not known before, 
in joys I'm receiving
a little bit more. 

A little more anxious
to reach out my hand, 
despite hurt or problems
to still understand, 
accepting the heartache
that life often brings, 
a little more beauty
in life's simple things. 

A prayer when I'm weary
as onward I trod, 
a little more trusting, 
believing in God, 
'tis this I would wish for
within moments dear, 
not a lot - just a little
this wondrous new year.

Happy Chinese New Year - Year of the Metal Rabbit !!!

Today is February 2nd 2011, in a few hours time the whole world not just the Chinese community will be celebrating the Chinese New Year, the Year of the Metal Rabbit!

And guess what, we have a new pet... a small golden rabbit for wealth and love :-) I have some pictures taken just few moments ago.

New Year's Day House Visit of Pangets and Baby Jewel

Our New Year's Day (January 01, 2011) was enlightened with the house visit of my college close friends or we fondly call each other "pangets" and Baby Jewel (Maricar's 2-year old baby), my god daughter also.
